Welcome to the Blog Plantation Y'all

Our family welcomes you and thanks you for stopping by to visit. We are delighted you have taken a few minutes out of your day to spend with us. We are Joe and Jessica. We have two children and one very regal beagle! We post often and it usually includes details of our Christian faith; life here in the South; entertaining our family and friends; tales of our travels; as well as the daily adventures of having two children. Oh, and our passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football!
Grab a mint julep, relax, and enjoy the site. Don't forget to leave us a message. You can click under any blog entry to do so. We love to hear from our guests.
(Also, please remember that all writings and pictures are the sole property of the blog plantation and it's authors and may not be duplicated, unless otherwise noted. )

Thanks for dropping by Y'all!

Hello!
We have been trying to stay warm here at the blog plantation. My goodness! I am pretty certain that we did not move to Antarctica, but I could be mistaken.

We are sending our prayers and love to baby Blaze who is fighting RSV. We hope he is well very soon.

Our Nephew TJ turns 17 tomorrow so

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TJ!!

FREE MAKE-UP?

Wanted to let everyone know that Jan. 20th you can get free cosmetics from Estee Lauder; Clinique; Lancome; Chanel; etc. It is all part of the settlement from the class action suit filed against them. Here is the link
There is a complete list of the stores and products available. It is on a first come basis, so get there early
.
I may seem the picture of southern gentility, but I will take you down if you get between me and free make- up!!!
LOL

Really enjoyed Damages tonight,
I was so glad to note that they toned down the language this week. I guess they just did it for effect the first week thinking that it would win over new viewers. THAT usually guarantees I will change the channel, but I had to suffer through it for Damages! So it was a relief to me that they had toned down almost eliminating the bad language.
Why is it that movies and Television have taken our viewing to that level? You can't watch anything these days without vulgar language, lewd acts, or out and out filth.

Anyway, that is enough of that for today.
Time to go watch Man vs Food with the Hubby.
At least I won't have to worry about the language on that!

NIGHT YA'LL!
