Princess Olivia is 10 today! A little different post than last time!

These were her cupcakes this morning. GrandMaMa says you should always have birthday cake for breakfast on your birthday, it has become a tradition!

Olivia is 10 today!

I cannot believe our little princess is 10 years old!.

Wasn't it just yesterday that we were in the NICU holding our 2 month early "preemie" as she struggled for breath and life?

Wasn't it just yesterday that she wrapped her tiny finger around ours as she drank her bottle?

Wasn't it just yesterday that my heart soared as she spoke the word "Mommy" for the first time?

Wasn't it just yesterday that she wore a tiara and tutu to the grocery store, the mall, and to bed?

Wasn't it yesterday that we had tea parties in the fairy village and could only travel by magic wand?

Wasn't it?

Yet today I sit here. Tears are streaming down my face as I see glimpses of a young woman where a fairy princess once was. A heart so full of joy to see what she has become and what she will be. She is so precious, beautiful, and full of life. She will always be our little princess!

We will celebrate today by having some friends over for paninis and cake!

The Panini station is going to be loaded with stuff and I am very excited to see how this goes.

Then we are off the see the Alabama Crimson Tide Hockey team play.

How many princesses do you know want to take their friends to a hockey game? LOL! Well, as any true Alabama southern belle knows its is all about the Tide!

We will just be watching while wearing our tiaras!

I hope we catch a hockey puck! I will post more pictures of the day tomorrow!
