It is 2009!

2009
New Year's Day is the one holiday Mother has always wanted everyone home for. She sees it as a new beginning for everyone and everything. I really like that outlook. Unfortunately, we won't make it this year so I am trying to create here what she would have there.
New Year's Brunch is always legendary and you never know what the theme of the table will be. It is always breathtakingly gorgeous! BUT the meal is always the same.
Eggs Benedict; grits; fresh fruit; Mimosas and lots of laughter and love!
Later in the day Black eyed peas are required and football!
Don't forget to write 2009 on everything!
