Welcome to the Blog Plantation Y'all

Our family welcomes you and thanks you for stopping by to visit. We are delighted you have taken a few minutes out of your day to spend with us. We are Joe and Jessica. We have two children and one very regal beagle! We post often and it usually includes details of our Christian faith; life here in the South; entertaining our family and friends; tales of our travels; as well as the daily adventures of having two children. Oh, and our passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football!
Grab a mint julep, relax, and enjoy the site. Don't forget to leave us a message. You can click under any blog entry to do so. We love to hear from our guests.
(Also, please remember that all writings and pictures are the sole property of the blog plantation and it's authors and may not be duplicated, unless otherwise noted. )

Thanks for dropping by Y'all!

Beach Bound

I am getting ready to leave! I hope that all survive while I am away. I am excited and ready to hit the road.

Today is Aunt Kay Ivey's birthday,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

We love you.

I am not sure if I had updated about Orren's hair. Well, we are going next week. I am giving in. I am sure I will be crying and in need of comfort. My parents will be here so that we can all share in this very precious milestone.

Joe and the children are going out to play this afternoon and I will be baking a pumpkin pie. YUMMY!

Orren and Olivia on the float last year

Last year we were in the Helena Christmas parade and we are starting the early stages of preparations this year. Be sure to look for us!

Have a great time! Hey! I am on the parade committee. I am usually in the Publix parkinglot conducting traffic flow. Wave at me when you drive by!

We cut Roland's hair when he was 16 months old...he has these beautiful big bouncy dark curls like Orren. I cried! Now he has....ugh....boy hair. Nothing can be done. Have a glass of wine. And now I am a little bit worried because I saw your update on facebook....
