We post often and it usually includes details of our Christian faith; life here in the South; entertaining our family and friends; tales of our travels; as well as the daily adventures of having two children. Oh, and our passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football!
Grab a mint julep, relax, and enjoy the site. Don't forget to leave us a message. You can click under any blog entry to do so. We love to hear from our guests.

GIGI/ Grayson's birthday/ Kayla's wedding

GIGI @ 86 years old came through surgery fine. She had a rough night and did not rest well. We now know she has leukemia and we will be taking steps to get her the care she needs. It is going to be a long next few weeks.

I have been so moved by the phone calls and love. Thank you to our blogger friends that have posted and emailed. Thank you all so very much. We will keep you all posted as we know more.

Right now we are pulling for USM to beat AUburn! Go Eagles.

Kayla should be walking down the aisle right now. I am certain she looks beautiful and our thoughts are with her.

Happy Birthday Grayson!!!

We are thinking of you also and hoping you are having a great day! You are a BIG one year old!
We love you!

Gorgeous photo of the little guy. Hope that GiGi continues to improve.

Be blessed.

Well I am so glad to hear that your Gigi came through the surgery. My granddad is about the same age and is in poor health with colon cancer. Because the surgery is so risky all he can do is ease his pain and wait to die (though I must say he seems to be enjoying his wait!). May you have lots more time with Gigi!
