We post often and it usually includes details of our Christian faith; life here in the South; entertaining our family and friends; tales of our travels; as well as the daily adventures of having two children. Oh, and our passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football!

My Cup Runneth Over!

Nothing brightens my day any more than a sweet thoughtful gift. Recently, I have received more than my share.

Shana sent towels for my children that she makes.

Are they not adorable?

Oh, too cute, and you can get your own here

@ Prissy Britches

While visiting family in Mississippi, I admired a picture my sister in law had. She took it right off of her wall and insisted that I take it.

I hung it here. By our coffee pot. So we can see it and think of her everyday.

And then today, sweet Katie, a friend I have had all my life, sent me this mouse pad.

She said when she saw it, it made her think of me. Is that not the coolest?

Of course, let me take a moment to say how blessed and thankful I am to all the precious people in my life.

My parents dote on and spoil us in ways too numerous to mention. We could NEVER thank them for everything they do and have done for all of us.

And you, dear reader. Be you friend, blogger, or lurker. I am thankful for you. Your comments and visits alone brighten my day.

Much love to all of you!

Sometimes in the mornin' when shadows are deep

I lie here beside you just watching you sleep

And sometimes I whisper what I'm thinking of

My cup runneth over with love

Sometimes in the evening when you do not see

I study the small things you do constantly

I memorize moments that I'm fondest of

My cup runneth over with love

In only a moment we both will be old

We won't even notice the world turning cold

And so, in these moments with sunlight above

My cup runneth over with love

My cup runneth over with love With love

The mouse pad really is 'you'. Thoughtful and lovely gifts all.

And parents! Mine are the same way... 'helping' and caring for all of us in such a loving way. How blessed we are to have such wonderful parents.
