We post often and it usually includes details of our Christian faith; life here in the South; entertaining our family and friends; tales of our travels; as well as the daily adventures of having two children. Oh, and our passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football!

Foodie Friday!

Be sure to stop by Gollum
and see more wonderful Foodie Fridays!

For this edition of Foodie Friday
we are making a simple cocktail food.
Meatballs

These Meatballs are fantastic!

Shopping list:
1 large bag of frozen Italian style meatballs

2 jars of Heinz* chili sauce

one 14 oz jar of grape jelly

*this is my favorite to use

Simply pour chili sauce and grape jelly into a large stock pot.
Stir and allow to melt and become liquidity.
Then add the frozen meatballs to the sauce.
Allow to simmer for several hours

These are wonderful for cocktail parties or football games!

Thanks for dropping by Y'all!

The teens in our family love this sauce with miniature hot dogs as well. I hope you are having a wonderful Foodie Friday.

I bought little cocktail franks and BBQ sauce to make these and flat-forgot about the jelly! Thank you so much for this recipe.

This is really good and I used to always make it this way, until a few years ago when someone said to try it with whole cranberry sauce instead of the jelly. That's good too....if you every want a little change.
