Our family welcomes you and thanks you for stopping by to visit. We are delighted you have taken a few minutes out of your day to spend with us. We are Joe and Jessica. We have two children and one very regal beagle! We post often and it usually includes details of our Christian faith; life here in the South; entertaining our family and friends; tales of our travels; as well as the daily adventures of having two children. Oh, and our passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football!
Grab a mint julep, relax, and enjoy the site. Don't forget to leave us a message. You can click under any blog entry to do so. We love to hear from our guests.

CHRISTmas Eve at the blog plantation

CHRISTmas Eve is a busy day here at the Blog Plantation

We started off with a lemon cranberry cake for breakfast
CHRISTmas trees of course

It was wonderful

We baked Jesus a birthday cake
which you will get to see tomorrow!

We eagerly watched for Father CHRISTmas
to drop by our house

He finally came riding a fire truck

We lit the Christ candle in our Advent wreath
as we read from Luke and Mathew
as well as sang
Joy to the World and Silent Night

We had to have eggnog and cookies

And of course make Reindeer food
which we had to spread on the lawn in the rain

Only to wrap things up
by putting out the eggnog and cookies
 for Father CHRISTmas!

Merry CHRISTmas Y'all
and to all a good night!

Merry Christmas back to you!!! Your children are adorable. LOVE that cake....and every single bit of what you posted. Tom read from Luke, too, this evening.
In CHRIST,
Lana

Looks like there was plenty of fun and food in your household. So much fun when there are children.
I made "Brown-eyed Susan" cookies too for my son who lives in Mexico. He loves Reeses Peanut Butter cups... which were my craving when I was pregnant with him. (Haven't eaten a one since I had him... 38 years ago! lol)
Love your blog!

soooo precious! It was dark when Santa got to my house on the firetruck. Dark and raining so no pics. Yours are great!
That cake looks delicious!
