A truly British cocktail

Have you ever had a Pimm's Cup?

Let me just tell you they are wonderful
This is a Napoleon House
(located in New Orleans, LA)
signature cocktail.
However,
A "Pimm's Cup"
is also the standard cocktail
at British and American
polo matches.
This is how I came to have my first
Pimm's Cup:

At a fabulous July 4th party,
given by friends of my family
who are very tied to Britain
and some of them even live there full time.
So my first Pimm's Cup was the true British version.

I absolutely adored this!
It is so refreshing and truly a summer must have.
This is the original recipe
as given to me by the good people of

Fill a tall, 12 oz glass
with ice and add

1 ¼ cup of Pimm’s #1
-       Add 3oz Lemonade
-       Top off with Sprite or 7-Up
-       Garnish with  cucumber

While this version is delicious,
I have yet to have one to rival the British version!
Thanks for dropping by Y'all!

Intriguing....perhaps I'll give it a try. Mostly, around here, we are wine drinkers, and frozen drinks throughout the summer. Gotta keep cool!
Have a wonderful weekend!
