Welcome to the Blog Plantation Y'all

Our family welcomes you and thanks you for stopping by to visit. We are delighted you have taken a few minutes out of your day to spend with us. We are Joe and Jessica. We have two children and one very regal beagle! We post often and it usually includes details of our Christian faith; life here in the South; entertaining our family and friends; tales of our travels; as well as the daily adventures of having two children. Oh, and our passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football!
Grab a mint julep, relax, and enjoy the site. Don't forget to leave us a message. You can click under any blog entry to do so. We love to hear from our guests.
(Also, please remember that all writings and pictures are the sole property of the blog plantation and it's authors and may not be duplicated, unless otherwise noted. )

Thanks for dropping by Y'all!

Sneak Peek in to tonight's event!

Well, this might be a blogging first.
Well, it is for me.
As most of you know I adore entertaining.
Tonight's event I had the opportunity to plan and execute with four great friends!
THREE
of which are bloggers
you may know from here at the plantation.
Leigh of Tales From Blioggeritaville , Hewy of No Sleep in Helena, and Laura Beth of Ruminations of a Working Mom. We also have another precious friend, Judy on the committee. She owns The Monkey Basket. All of these people are just amazing and truly astound me with their talents.  This is a great group to work with and I know that tonight's event will be fabulous! I cannot wait to show you tomorrow!
In the mean time here is a sneak peek

(yes I stole this picture from Leigh, she had her camera yesterday when we were working the rest of us didn't)
Leigh will be taking the pictures tonight also.
She is a wonderful photographer!
