Welcome to the Blog Plantation Y'all

Our family welcomes you and thanks you for stopping by to visit. We are delighted you have taken a few minutes out of your day to spend with us. We are Joe and Jessica. We have two children and one very regal beagle! We post often and it usually includes details of our Christian faith; life here in the South; entertaining our family and friends; tales of our travels; as well as the daily adventures of having two children. Oh, and our passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football!
Grab a mint julep, relax, and enjoy the site. Don't forget to leave us a message. You can click under any blog entry to do so. We love to hear from our guests.

National Champions and a snow day!

You may purchase one of these
Waterford Crystal Footballs

Our Alabama Crimson Tide won the
National Championship last night!

We are so pleased.
The excitement here was tremendous
and there was a thunderous roar of Roll Tide!
Way to go

Of course we celebrated with game day food.

Yesterday was also a snow day for us.
What blessings!
National Championship and snow!

We spent the day inside playing

The Prince adores his rocket ship

and roasting marshmallows for Italian S'mores
that is what The Princess loves.

I am sorry that I didn't do Foodie Friday this week.
There was just so much going on.
Next Week I promise.
Don't forget to sign up for the contest.
 See the sidebar for details.

Thanks for dropping by Y'all!

It was such a thrill to have the game over and know for sure that YES, we can win the National Championship. I am proud of our boys in Crimson!

I read the comment you left on my blog to Bryan. Well said! Colt McCoy is in our prayers for his healing.

The pictures of your family are wonderful! Everyone looks like they are having fun. They will remember the tradition of game day food on special dishes when they are grown. You are a good Momma!

I would love to have a crystal football but I want one that all of the Crimson Tide has smooched :)

Shhh.... don't let MacDaddy see this... Roll Tide! Congrats to your crimson boys. They played a good game last night.

Love your special game day dishes, etc. Looks like my house on game days. Your kids will remember this when they are grown.(Mine still laugh about the time I divided the house in two...one side for FSU, one for AU...I wore my feather headdress...Marty wore his AU jersey. (I really did not pull for FSU...just had to raz him a bit. I went there for 1 year...the football team scored 6 points...the WHOLE season!)

Enjoy the win...and the snow.
Hugs,
Jane
