Welcome to the Blog Plantation Y'all

Our family welcomes you and thanks you for stopping by to visit. We are delighted you have taken a few minutes out of your day to spend with us. We are Joe and Jessica. We have two children and one very regal beagle! We post often and it usually includes details of our Christian faith; life here in the South; entertaining our family and friends; tales of our travels; as well as the daily adventures of having two children. Oh, and our passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football!
Grab a mint julep, relax, and enjoy the site. Don't forget to leave us a message. You can click under any blog entry to do so. We love to hear from our guests.

Deep South Paninis

Please forgive me for my absence. It has been crazy around here and I have had so much going on. I cannot wait to share EVERYTHING with you! I promise that through this week I will do just that! We hosted an event here that was so much fun I cannot wait to show you the pictures.
Today is a quick post to share with you our game day food as we cheer on the
New Orleans Saints ( I am so proud of them!)

DEEP SOUTH PANINIS

Pimento Cheese
Cooked Bacon
Spread pimento cheese onto a
wonderful sour dough bread.
 Top with bacon.
 Put panini together.
Butter the outsides and toss onto your panini press

(I do not know how I EVER lived without mine)
That is it!
It is fabulous!
Thanks for dropping by Y'all!

I'm hoping Santa bring me a panini (SP?) press. Do you make your pimento cheese or use store bought? I'd love a good homemade pimento cheese recipe.

Hugs!
