Welcome to the Blog Plantation Y'all

Our family welcomes you and thanks you for stopping by to visit. We are delighted you have taken a few minutes out of your day to spend with us. We are Joe and Jessica. We have two children and one very regal beagle! We post often and it usually includes details of our Christian faith; life here in the South; entertaining our family and friends; tales of our travels; as well as the daily adventures of having two children. Oh, and our passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football!
Grab a mint julep, relax, and enjoy the site. Don't forget to leave us a message. You can click under any blog entry to do so. We love to hear from our guests.
(Also, please remember that all writings and pictures are the sole property of the blog plantation and it's authors and may not be duplicated, unless otherwise noted. )

Thanks for dropping by Y'all!

My butt hurts!!! What??

Although I usually don't trivialize Easter in anyway,
This has always been one of my favorites and I wanted to share.
(It will most likely be the last nonreligious post of the holiday)

It seems that we are all a little under the weather here at the blog plantation so please forgive me today and I will try to post more later this afternoon tomorrow at the latest!
See Y'all then!

LOL! That is hilarious!!! I just wanted to let you know how much I liked your tablescape for your son's christening reception. I shared it with my mom and my sister-in-law and we are going to do something very similar for my niece's baptism reception at the end of the month, only in pinks. Okay, not really very similar...more like we are trying to copy your idea as close as possible because your idea is most perfect. I truly hope you are not offended by this...We just loved your pictures!!!
Blessings,
Wendy
P.S. The menu will be differed. My SIL is from Chicago and has never heard of shrimp-n-grits or pimeinto cheese sandwiches. Sad, I know. Those are comfort foods for my family.
