Our family welcomes you and thanks you for stopping by to visit. We are delighted you have taken a few minutes out of your day to spend with us. We are Joe and Jessica. We have two children and one very regal beagle! We post often and it usually includes details of our Christian faith; life here in the South; entertaining our family and friends; tales of our travels; as well as the daily adventures of having two children. Oh, and our passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football!
Grab a mint julep, relax, and enjoy the site. Don't forget to leave us a message. You can click under any blog entry to do so. We love to hear from our guests.

Good Morning!

Wow, the past few days have been a whirlwind!
Storms; tornadoes; snow; and funerals

My parents were in the last of the weekend to attend the funeral of our precious family friend that passed away late last week.
Mr. Zack Cross will always be remembered in our hearts.
(so please forgive me that yesterday and today's posts are a little lacking. I promise by the end of the week we will be back on track)

I also just found out that my cousin and his oldest son will be coming to visit this weekend!! I am so excited. Turns out they have a soccer game here in Birmingham.

This week is going to be full of events..... resident meetings, girl's night out, a huge crawfish boil and a family visit!
I also have BIG plans for Tablescape / Thrifty Thursday
and Foodie Friday!

My Mother and Daddy brought fish from the Gulf and some new fishing pictures

We had an awesome fish fry last night and great family time!

They are heading back to the Gulf this morning, I ask that you please join us in praying for their safe return.
Be Blessed Y'all!

I am looking forward to your Thurday post ! Il oved you tease! Can't wait. Also, I think you are trying to make me jealous with those fishing pictures. If so, it worked. I cannot wait. This is a great time for sheepshead and red fish for those that like to fish. You can bet your britches that in less than two weeks, I will be there with my pole in the water too. Oh! I cannot wait!

Well, we DO have a busy week this week! I am so excited, but you'll have to let me know if y'all are planning to "spill the beans" on Thursday. If so, I will need to bring my own Bean along. AND - TJ is SO looking forward to the CC boil on Sunday. We WILL be bringing some beverages, if I have to make them myself! (can't disappoint King Breland, can we?)
