night out? on a school night?

We surprised the children with a night out!
(yes, even on a school night)

picture with Babe Ruff

We took the children to the Barons Game

As you can see everyone had a great time!
The children ate three hot dogs a piece and loaded up on loot!
Bike helmets, jerseys, baseballs, bat bags, cozies, teddy bears, baseball hats
Orren wasn't willing to share everything for the picture.
First thing this morning he cried to have is jersey back on.
I have to say things are not looking good for me with this situation!
I have visions of myself slipping it off of him in the middle of the night just to wash it because it smells.

This will be a moment your kids will remember...going to a baseball game with Mom and Dad - on a school night! These times are so important. Memories are made!

One of the reasons we home-schooled our boys for years was to take advantage of traveling with Dad or doing these wonderful kinds of outings when Dad was available to go. (Through those years he was traveling all over the world...and the US). Today, as adults, it's amazing what outings stand out the most...
