Although this is my first Met Monday, I have been a long time participant in Tablescape Thursday.
My husband worked so very hard this weekend I really wanted to share the results of his labor with all of you.
There are three projects to share.
Also don't forget to sign up for the give away!

OK so onto the projects!
First this sad little chandelier
BEFORE
After
Black paint and little shades brought this to life don't you think?
( we hung it over the breakfast nook table)
OK so now the front door from inside the foyer
BEFORE
(no sheers)
AFTER
Sheers warm up the foyer and adds a great deal of privacy without blocking the light.
Next, the BIG project
Painting the halls and staircases
I don't have any "before" but can you see the different color?
The lighter alabaster color in the upper corner?
We needed to change

Good job on your chandelier. It looks like a brand new light!
Wow, three metamorphosis! Love the new look of your chandelier...doesn't even look like the same one! The sheers really do give a lot of privacy without blocking your light...great idea! And your new paint color is really pretty...I think it warmed up you hall/staircase areas, too. I love the fleur-de-lis going up the side! Great Met Monday post! :-)
Very nice.
Blessings,
Linda

Nice changes made around your house lately.
I rec'd the coolest decal in the mail Saturday (taken out of the mailbox yesterday though). I have some of the MOST thoughtful friends!!
Love the sheers in the door sidelights! They really accentuate the foyer so nicely!
Your chandelier looks so classy black!
I love the taupe color. I think I'll paint my hallway taupe. It's so soothing. Have beige right now and am tired of it.
Enjoying Met Monday. Glad you've shared.
I posted for the first time this week.
