Welcome to the Blog Plantation Y'all

Our family welcomes you and thanks you for stopping by to visit. We are delighted you have taken a few minutes out of your day to spend with us. We are Joe and Jessica. We have two children and one very regal beagle! We post often and it usually includes details of our Christian faith; life here in the South; entertaining our family and friends; tales of our travels; as well as the daily adventures of having two children. Oh, and our passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football!
Grab a mint julep, relax, and enjoy the site. Don't forget to leave us a message. You can click under any blog entry to do so. We love to hear from our guests.

Tuesday Tidbit

Hope Y'all are having a great week!
It is crazy around here and it is only Monday night!
I shared with all of you my fears and worries of Olivia going back to school, but it has been GREAT so far! We could not be happier!
I worried that I would pine for her, and of course I do, but I look so forward to her getting off the bus every afternoon and hearing what she did all day. It is so exciting for The Prince and I to await her arrival. We have her snack ready and listening ears on to be sure we don't miss one detail of her day. So I thank all of you friends for your prayers and love! It is you that helped ease such a transition!

So what does the Prince do with himself while she is away? He plays baseball on the Wii.

It is too funny! He is most likely the only two year old that doesn't watch cartoons, ONLY sports. ONLY football and baseball! He runs around singing the FOX sports theme! Goodness gracious!

We got a package from London !!!!

Which was very exciting for the children.

We have precious friends across the big blue ocean and recently, on a trip to the USA, their plane was forced to land. They were STRANDED for some time in Iceland. So they were sure to include a pencil from Iceland for us!

Well, that is it for today!

Y'all come back

and DON'T forget to register for the drawing

(see side bar for details!)
