Tablescape and Thrifty Thursday

Today our hostesses are: Susan @ Between Naps on the porch http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/

and for Thrifty Thursday: the ever charming

For our table we did a simple beach picnic table
Here it is before we set the table

Mother has such an eye for color. This was a lot of fun!

I adore the use of yellow and green. It looks so crisp and fresh!

AFTER!

Now what makes it "thrifty" all of the plastic trays, which we used as plates, were quite the find at your local WalMart!

Hope you enjoyed this edition. We have some major events coming up that I think will make great tablescapes in the coming weeks. I hope you will drop back by!

LOVE the yellow and green. And I've seen the plastic platters but didn't think of using them in that capacity - what a great idea!

as soon as I saw corn and taters together I thought, "She's having a crawfish boil!" Very festive!

I LOVE that it is still "simple" even when it is finished. I am a firm believer that less is more.

I so agree that I love green and yellow. Your picnic tablescape is just gorgeous. I love the big green plastic plates, and your food looks so yummy. BTW we're having a "Cloche Party" on June 19th, check out my blog to find out all the details. I really hope you will join in on all the fun. Hugs, Marty

I haven't had corn on the cob in ages. It looks even better in all of that yellow and green - one of my very favorite color combinations.
