I am so excited to be back up and blogging.

I love, love, LOVE that recipe. I make one that is very similar.
Here is Applebee's Oriental Chicken Salad with a few changes... to make it easier!
Applebee's Oriental Chicken Salad
Salad:
Buy either grilled or fried chicken strips and bake.(I really like Popeye's chicken strips.)
3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1 cup red cabbage
1 cup Napa cabbage
1/2 carrot, julienned or shredded
1 green onion, chopped
1 tablespoon sliced almonds
1/3 cup chow mein noodles (the real thin kind)
Dressing:
3 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Grey Poupon Dijon mustard
1/8 teaspoon sesame oil
Prepare dressing ingredients by mixing in a small bowl. Refrigerate while
preparing salad.
Prepare salad by tossing the chopped romaine with the chopped red cabbage, Napa cabbage, and carrots. Sprinkle sliced green onion on top of the lettuce. Sprinkle almonds over the salad, then the chow mein noodles.
Cut the chicken into small chunks. Place the chicken onto the salad
forming a pile in the middle. Serve with salad dressing on the side.
When I make this I triple of veggie part of the recipe and we enjoy this salad for a couple of days!
Glad you're back. I've missed you.
Hugs,

Looks so good....I had a 4 hour dental app today and am starving....and that is so enticing...
Looks and sounds wonderful! Hope your having fun in your new home. I know you are. How is the neighbor's basket coming along?
This is the perfect summer side dish! The ramen noodles and almonds would add such a nice crunch!
I think this is the salad that they serve EVERY YEAR at the scrapbooking retreat because the ladies love it so much. It certainly looks pretty.
Have a wonderful weekend!
I make this one often...its one of my fav's! I love a marinated salad!
