Foodie Friday!

It is Foodie Friday!
Please be sure to visit
our gracious hostess Gollum
for more FF!

We are starting off with our Family Fun night.
We made home made pizzas.
and an amazing sweet treat!
Both recipes are below
You can purchase the dough
from the refrigerated section
in your local grocery bakery
It runs about $2.00 a bag
and one bag will make
one pizza

Toss and Work the dough

sneak a few bites of topping
like the Prince does

Brush with Olive oil, seasonings of your choice.
Top with Cheese, favorite toppings, and bake

ENJOY!

How about a simple snack for dessert?
This is so yummy!!You need 2 bags of Chex mix sweet and salty
we like the Honey nut variety

one bag of butterscotch morsels

Mix together
and store in an
airtight container over night

You will ADORE this sweet treat!
Thanks for dropping by Y'all!

I love any recipe that gets the entire family into the kitchen. Your gang looks like they are having a wonderful time. I must say I'm impressed with the skill of your dough tosser :-). If my husband tried that the pie would be on the ceiling. I hope you all are having a wonderful day.

This is just how it all started...family night making pizza. I now have 3 grown sons who LOVE to create with food. One became a sommelier (wine guy) and a chef, one is in the music industry but loves cooking for all his friends...and bands, and the youngest has created the most delicious marinara sauce AND is the king of barbeque. This love of cooking...and family... all started with family "cooking" nights. (And Cub Scout Dad and Lad Cake Bakes...my boys and hubby won each year with their unusual creations.)

Keep these traditions going...no matter how old the kids get!

Smiles,
Jane (Artfully Graced)

ps Prince looks like he's feeling better. Hurray!

The pizza looks out of this world good! But it's the family effort, the joy that goes into that crust, that makes it truly memorable. I so enjoyed this! And thank you for another great Foodie Friday post.
Hugs,
Gollum
