God's plan for us

OK, so I know it has been two days
since I last posted.
I am so sorry,
I hope you will forgive me.
I have some things to share with you.
Friday, my husband came home
and had lost his job.
We were confused, hurt, and stunned.
We were not afraid, burdened, or bitter.
We knew that our Heavenly Father had a plan.
That plan was revealed Monday
when my husband was hired by another company,
in the same industry.
Yes, that was over one weekend.
GOD IS SO GOOD!
So, this post is for no other purpose
than to glorify HIM
and praise HIM.
We see this as a blessing
and an exciting new adventure!

Now that things

seem to be settling back

into a normal routine,

I hope to post regularly again.

Thanks for dropping by Y'all

I am so happy that your husband found a job so quickly. This is another one of those "door closing, door opening" stories. God is good!

Oh my -- just as I was about to add your family to my prayer list of those who have lost their jobs...I see that instead it should be rejoicing with your newest blessing! Yes, A blessing indeed.

Jessica, God IS so good! What a blessing this is. My heart sank as I read about John losing his job, but popped back in place when I read that he already had another job. Thank goodness!!!

Our God is so good. What a scarey thing to go through, and how fast God opened another door for you all. And to know God opened this door for your hubby makes it even better knowing you are following the Lord and you are where he wants you for this Season of Life.
Have a blessed week,
Jolyn

Jessica,
I can relate completely with you...God has a way of creeping in with those blessings when you least expect it. My husband lost his position last December. Throughout the past many months, God has blessed us with all we needed...and then some! With consulting jobs and even starting his own company, we were able to pay all our bills. And we learned that we could live on so much less. Yes, it wasn't quite as fun as having plenty, but it was FUN watching God's hand in everything.
In September, my husband's largest client asked him to come on board full time, to head up global sales. He has been so happy and challenged these past 3 weeks, without the heart-killing stress he had been under. DH had 10 months of returning to good health.
And we had 10 months of little travel and lots of together time. God is so very good...He knows what we need and when we need... I praise Him for our new job...and for yours!!!
