Father, I adore you!

This weekend at our church, we had Celebration Sunday. This is the Sunday that we all make our financial committments for 2010. Joe and I could not have been more touched or filled with the Holy Spirit as we watched our 10 year old take her card and place it in the basket. She pledged $1.00 (of her own money) every week for the year 2010.

When my precious son was around 10 (he's now 35!) he sold his (old) bicycle to help raise money for something (can't remember now) at our church! I was so touched by his sweet little heart's desire. Kids give so freely, no strings attached, just out of the love in their hearts.

What a blessing to know your daughter loves the Lord so much.

You must be a very good example. Good for her!

How wonderful! I remember being so filled too, when our daughter gave all her birthday money one year to our church. Sometimes we are led by the little children.
