TWO NEW 5.0 FUEL INJECTED VOLVO ENGINES!
AND...Two totally NEW OUTDRIVES....AND....She looks brand new on the inside. The Regal 290's sleek lines are defined by her Cat Eye windows which bathe everything below in a natural glow. The salon is entered down three steps from the port side of the helm area. The designer feel created by the sweeping curved surfaces and coordinated drapes, is highlighted by the tan Ultra-leather settee, and accented by light tan Corian counter tops, beige carpets and master berth spread. There is a U-shaped *(converts to sleep two) tan Ultra-leather dinette to starboard and a full galley to port. The galley has a refrigerator w/freezer, microwave, stove, built-in coffee maker, water heater and a sink. There is plenty of counter, cabinet and drawer space for storing food and dishes. There is a separate head compartment with molded vanity with sink, Vacu-flush head and non slip shower. The master cabin is forward with an offset queen berth, cedar hanging locker and lots of storage space. The mid-ship guest cabin is aft of the dinette and has a U-shaped settee that converts to a double berth. There is seating for all your friends in the cockpit with sweeping L-shaped companion bench companion seat to port and a U-shaped bench seat w/table in the cockpit aft. The wet bar and cockpit icemaker are on the starboard side of the cockpit. Her expansive forward deck allows for a hook on Sun Pad for those lazy days sunning, and she is complete with a swim platform and ladder for easy in water access. She is in excellent condition and is a must see for the serious family cruiser/weekender buyer. She Will Not Last Long At This Price!!!

Stepping Below
In the air conditioned comfort of the cabin, to port is a galley with Corian countertop, storage cabinets and a highly polished stainless steel sink. Equipment includes a microwave, two-burner electric cooktop and an under counter refrigerator. The head has non-slip flooring in the shower, Vacu-flush toilet and a vanity with sink and mirror. The aft cabin has U shaped seating that has a filler cushion to convert it to a Queen sized bed, privacy curtain and a hanging locker that is cedar lined to keep your clothes fresh.

The main saloon has a folding dinette table with a large seating area. This area can be converted into a double bed quickly for added sleeping space. Accent lighting makes the area cozy for night time activities and a Kenwood stereo keeps the tunes going strong as long as you want.
The forward Master Cabin has a V-berth, privacy curtain, cedar lined hanging closet and plenty of under berth storage.

Electronics & Navigation Station
The helm is set up for easy view of every component and includes a compass, Faria fog-free backlit gauges with stainless steel bezels. Instrumentation includes GPS, fish finder, radio, tachometer, speedometer, trim, fuel, volts, temperature, oil, hour meter and digital depth gauge, etc. Water resistant switches are protected by circuit breakers. The dash has a great non-glare top to it as well. Tilt steering, non-slip steering and a remote stereo control wrap up the dash.

Cockpit
A semi-circular bench starts across from the helm and wraps around to the stern walk through at mid cockpit. You can set up a table here for serving snacks or leave it stashed for more freedom of movement in the cockpit. Behind the helm is an integrated wet bar with sink, faucet and trash bin. Across the stern is a fold-away bench seat that works like a charm. When you fold the legs up, they lock the bench into the stern wall. When you are ready to set it up, you just unfold the legs and it drops into position.
On the transom you have a shower with hot and cold water. There is storage to port and starboard, and a power cord locker and a stainless steel swim ladder also located on the extended swim platform area.

Deck
Aggressive non-skid topsides make working around the bow and with ground tackle safe. The windlass is hidden and the manual crank, if you ever need it, is right there at the windlass. The anchor locker even has a light so you can see what is going on in the dark. The windlass has helm controls. A nice double sun pad can be hooked on the front deck for lazy afternoons and tanning. The walk through windshield has steps up the dash for easy egress to and from the bow.

Mechanical
This 290 has NEW Twin Volvo Penta 5.0 Fuel injected and NEW Twin Sterndrives. This combination gives us 540 shaft horsepower to go just about anywhere we wanted. She is on plane in 8.2 seconds and passing through 30 mph in 14.8 seconds. We found her best and most economical cruise to be at 3000 rpms which equals 25.8 miles per hour on this boat. At cruise she burns 14.9 gallons per hour and delivers a range of 235 miles on a full tank of fuel. Wide open throttle is at 4850 rpms and 47.7 mph with a fuel burn of 42 gallons per hour.
If you have been looking for some express cruising that gives a breath of fresh air and light onto everything you do on board, then the Regal 2990 Commodore Express awaits you!
