It is almost time for The Boys of Fall

Football speaks to my very soul. I was raised on it. As were most of us here in the south. When I wasn't on the Dallas Cowboy sidelines cheering for my Daddy, I was cheering for the Saints on TV. Years later I was in the stands cheering on my little brother. As I watch this video, my heart is stirred and tears stream down my face. I look forward to watching my own son strap on the pads and take his place among this legacy that is The Boys of Fall

We're so ready here! Marty was watching a repeat of the Outback Bowl while he watched some of this week's practice sessions at Auburn. And of course, the chat group is ACTIVE. Youngest son was at the Bucs open practice this evening. I was searching cookbooks for new recipes to fix for our gameday soirees. Bring on the Boys of Fall!!!

Bring on the Tide ~ the Crimson Tide that is! As a Mom to a son, I also hope he will one day be a "Boy of Fall".
