Foodie Friday!

Be sure to visit Gollum for more Foodie Fridays!
We are making Grated Apple Pie this week.
With the first of Fall
I can almost taste the spices in the air!
Shopping List:
1 pie crust
1 stick melted butter
1 cup of sugar
1 heaping TBL of flour
1 beaten egg
1/2 tsp of apple pie spice
3 cups grated apples (peeled. I also use a mixture of apples it takes about 5 larges apples I usually use one Granny Smith, three Fuji, one Macintosh)

Mix all ingredients then add apples, pour into crust and bake @ 350 for an hour. Whenever I make this I am ALWAYS asked for this recipe. Even if you are not a fan of apple pie (like me) you will ADORE this recipe!

Enjoy!
Thank Y'all for dropping by!

I will give this a try. I don't dislike apple pie, but it is not one of my favorites. Grating the apples is something I have not heard of. Thanks for sharing this!
