Quick post, I had to share!

Are these not the cutest things you have ever seen?

I know Vday is tomorrow and THAT is what I actually went to buy. 

These were so precious that I had to go on and purchase.

We start decorating for Easter, Monday anyway.

Right?

I had the BEST time looking at all of the Easter things 

and planning for our Easter extravaganza. 

We are hosting an Easter Brunch, and egg hunt at our home. 

Very excited about it.

Anyway, just wanted to share with all of you 

so you could be on the look out.

We got a LOT of snow

Yes, we did! 

It started snowing around 10:00 AM and did not stop until well after 5:00 PM.

It snowed hard!

That is a lot of snow.

This was the really cold wet snow. 

The past few snows we have been able to go out and play with no real issues. 

Today, it was so brutal we would have to come in, warm up, and change clothes. 

We would just be soaked through.

Most of the flakes were the size of dimes but many were the size of nickles!

Foodie Friday

 Please forgive this "called in" Foodie Friday" 

We are preparing, as are MANY of you, for historic snow falls here. 

So I have been so busy today making certain everything is ready.

I hope you are snug and warm! 

We are making Peanut butter syrup to go on those pancakes in the morning!

Ingredients

1/2 cup pancake syrup

1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Directions

1Combine both ingredients in a small saucepan over low heat; heat until peanut butter is melted and and mixture is smooth.

I'm so excited!

I WON!! I WON!! 

Yes, I won one of the prizes over

at Teresa's Treasures (AKA Grammy Girlfriend) 

She asked us to make our Superbowl winner projections back in early Jan.

I of course, chose the SAINTS. 

All those who chose correctly were put into the drawing.

If you got your choice in BEFORE the NFC Championship (like I did) 

you got 5 extra chances.

So the drawing was yesterday

and I won one of them!

I am so excited!

That's right the SAINTS won the Superbowl, We watched every second, all 8 hours of pregame coverage and the post game. We had an amazing feast and great family fellowship! I know that my Granddaddy is celebrating with the angels and Buddy D tonight in heaven. I will post more tomorrow, but for now we are still celebrating, My heart is so full that the tears have been streaming down my face since the 2:00 minute warning! Here is a peek into our feast.
