The Great Flood

Well, we just couldn't have any more rain here.
We took the children down to have dinner
at The Depot so that we could sit and watch the rising water!

Have a look at some of the pictures from this afternoon!

WOW!

This is normally
A waterfall.
A fairly large waterfall

Here is what it looks like on a normal day
OK back to today

This is our amphitheater

The police came while we were eating and roped it off

Some of our magical places

Can't you just hear the fairies playing?

Just to show you how quickly the water is rising
This is the amphitheater when we first got there

This is what it looked like when we left
after eating our dinner

  3. Well, ours isn't that bad, but we have had more rain already than we usually get in a year and a half. Everything is totally water logged and it's a mess. Looks like you guys have more than enough. Hugs, Marty

  5. Wow! How exciting(provided everyone is safe). We have had record floods here for the past three years in a row and it is always fun to go look at it.
