Tablescape Thursday

It has been a while

since I participated in

Tablscape Thursday

Although, it and Foodie Friday

are some of my favorite blog days!

Susan is graciously hosting us again.

Please be sure to run by her place

and spend some time

My TT post is not so much a tablescape

as it is table decorations around our home.

This is the table in our breakfast room

The raffia and artificial leaves make a nice bed for the pumpkins.

I carved this Fleur dis lis (actually I stenciled Joe carved)

into this reusable pumpkin

The place mats I picked up years ago at Pottery Barn kids

I was thrilled to see PBK carry them again this year.

Although, they have changed slightly.

Mine, the details are actually cut out

The "new version," the details are painted on

Now, this is in our foyer

Eagerly awaiting Trick or treaters!
I spray painted an old candelabra flat black
and bought orange taper candles
(that we modified somewhat with heat)
added some "webbing" and spiders
VIOLA!
In the dining room we are offering a seasonal treat
CANDY CORN
these are actually rice crispy treats.
Dipped in white chocolate
then orange
and
the ends rolled in sprinkles

SUPER easy SUPER cute!

Of course, there is ALWAYS the original!

Thank Y'all for dropping by!

See you tomorrow for Foodie Friday!
